Greetings

The workshop will be a platform to discuss challenging problems in biology and medicine that are inspiring new tools in both computation and theory of mathematics, physics, statistics, and engineering. One of goals is to recognize how mathematical models can be utilized for clinical application and guide the specific experiments. Various mathematical approaches will be generating important new insights into biology including cancer biology, cell motility, and infectious diseases. Exciting posters on cancer biology will be presented and poster awards will be given to recognize outstanding research at the workshop. Those who are interested in the math-bio interface are strongly encouraged to attend.
